Assistant Superintendent

Job Description:

We are seeking qualified candidates to fill several open Assistant Superintendent positions with a leading home builder in the greater Sacramento region. These positions offer an excellent opportunity for experienced construction professionals to join a growing team and contribute to the successful completion of residential projects.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Superintendent in the management and construction of the homes
• Assist in scheduling of trade partners 
• Foster a team environment
• Maintain subcontractor relations
• Enforce the site safety
• Provide clear answers to buyers about how the home is built, ensure the overall condition of the home at move in is satisfactory to the home buyers
• Provide outstanding level of customer service at all times
• Ensures that the worksite is clean, orderly and visually appealing to customers during construction
• Walk with inspectors as needed 
• Work evenings and or weekends as needed
• Create and maintain daily schedules for all construction activities
• Willing to perform other duties as assigned

Education: High School

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Driver's License (Required) 

Experience: 24 months

• Experience in new home construction, required

Physical:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. 
• Work outside in all weather conditions
• This job requires sitting, standing, walking, reaching with arms and hands, and occasional climbing, carrying and balancing 

Skills:

• Functional building knowledge of residential construction
• Familiar with scheduling software tools 
• Excellent organizational skills
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
